Three tracks.
Chair yoga with seated stretches and breathing, balance work holding the back of a chair, and gentle strength for legs and arms. Each track has routines of 10, 15 and 20 minutes, and four short routines cover the days you only have 5 minutes.
One move at a time.
An animated figure shows the move, with its name, one plain sentence on what to do and a large countdown. The next move waits in the corner. There is one big Pause button, a Skip button and a rest between moves. The screen stays on while a routine plays, and it pauses by itself when a call comes in or you leave the app.
A spoken count.
The phone's own voice names each move and counts down the last seconds, so you do not have to keep watching the screen. One switch turns it off.
Suggests a starting level.
Three questions on the first day, about standing up from a chair, balancing with a chair and climbing stairs, suggest a level: Gentle, Steady or Stronger. If you would rather not stand, every routine keeps to seated moves. The level can be changed in Settings at any time.
A weekly plan.
Pick the days you want to move and each one has a routine ready, rotating through the three tracks, with a reminder at the time you choose. After at least two weeks and ten sessions at your level, the app asks whether you would like to move up a level. The answer is yours.
105 moves, and your own routines.
73 seated moves and 32 done standing with a hand on the chair, each with its own animation and instructions. Filter by track or by seated only, try any move on its own, or put your favourites in order with your own move and rest times and save the routine.
