ClearStack Apps ("we", "us", "our") operates the SiteProof mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.

When you use SiteProof, you may provide the following information:

  • Project details: names, client names, addresses, notes
  • Business information: business name, phone, email, logo
  • Photos and associated notes

All of this data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

2b. Automatically Collected Information

  • Photo metadata: Photos include GPS coordinates and timestamps, stored locally on your device.
  • Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC): Crash logs, stack traces, device model, OS version, and app version are transmitted to Google to help us identify and fix bugs.
  • Firebase Analytics (Google LLC): App usage events, screen views, device information, and approximate location derived from IP address are transmitted to Google to help us understand how the app is used.

2c. Purchase Information

Your purchase status is stored locally on your device. All payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment details.

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide core app functionality (photo documentation, reports, invoices)
  • Improve app stability through crash reports
  • Understand usage patterns to improve the app

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • All project data, photos, and business information are stored only on your device in a local database.
  • We do not operate servers, cloud storage, or backend systems.
  • We cannot access, view, or recover your data.
  • Data is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app or clear app data.
  • We recommend maintaining your own backups as we cannot recover lost data.

5. Third-Party Services

SiteProof uses the following third-party services:

  • Google Play Billing / Apple App Store — In-app purchase processing.

6. Permissions We Request

  • Camera: To photograph work sites for documentation.
  • Location: To geotag photos with GPS coordinates (stored locally only).
  • Photo Library: To import existing photos into projects.
  • Internet: Required for crash reporting, analytics, and purchase verification only.

7. Children's Privacy

SiteProof is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your Rights and Choices

  • Delete all app data by uninstalling the app or clearing app data in your device settings.
  • Disable analytics collection through your device's privacy settings.
  • Opt out of crash reporting through your device settings.
  • Request information about data processing by contacting us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
