MILK
Morning and evening are two different numbers
Every milk entry belongs to one doe, on one date, tagged AM or PM. That is the whole
input: pick the doe, tap the session, type the weight. Pounds, kilograms, litres or
quarts, chosen once in Settings and used everywhere after that.
What comes back out is worth the ten seconds. The home screen totals today across the
herd. Each doe's page draws her curve for the lactation, so a drop after a feed change
or a hot week is something you can see rather than something you half remember. The
milk report turns the same entries into per-doe totals, days in milk and a daily
average.
- AM and PM stored separatelyNever averaged away into a single daily figure.
- Four unitslb, kg, L or qt, set once for the whole app.
- A curve per lactationDry-off is estimated from your lactation length, 305 days by default.
