LashProof

Patch tests, lash maps and consent

Is her patch test valid for the product you will use?

LashProof keeps a lash, brow or PMU tech's patch tests, treatment history, lash maps and signed consent together on her own phone. Every client carries a verdict for the product her next appointment will use.

Five clients on the standard tier.
Pro is $1.99/mo, $9.99/yr or $24.99 once.

Amelia Hart's card in LashProof: a Valid chip reading inside the interval you set on this product, good until Jan 27 2027, checked against Velour Rapid Bond, a Fill overdue chip, her patch test of 29 July read Clear and a full set on 30 July at $65

ONE CARD, ONE ANSWER

Each patch test is recorded against one product

In LashProof, a patch test recorded for an adhesive does not count as a test for a tint. It reads every client's patch tests against the product her next appointment will use and shows one verdict. The intervals it measures against are the ones you set.

  • Valid
  • Due soon
  • Expired
  • Re-test needed
  • Awaiting read
  • Never tested
  • Reaction on file
  • No product chosen

WITH HER IN THE CHAIR

Test today, book from

Log a test with her still in the chair and LashProof shows the earliest appointment date calculated at both a 24-hour and a 48-hour lead time. Check your product instructions and your own policy to decide which interval to use.

  • A result that was never read back is never a pass; it reads as awaiting read
  • A test on a different product reads as re-test needed, with the reason on the card
  • A reaction on file is sticky: LashProof never clears it on its own, and it survives a backup and restore
  • The lead time, how long a test stays good and how far ahead to warn you are all in Settings
A new patch test on Sienna Brow Tint 2.0, tested at 2:49pm on 7 September, with Test today, book from showing a 24-hour lead of 8 September 2:49pm and a 48-hour lead of 9 September 2:49pm, and a note that both are shown because there is no single figure
Logging a test: the earliest appointment at both lead times, side by side.

WHAT IT KEEPS

The map, the history and what she signed

Lash maps you can see

Tap a zone along the lash line, from inner corner to outer corner, and set the length in millimetres and the curl. The diagram redraws as you go. Start from a natural, cat eye or wispy shape, or copy her last map and change what you like.

Treatment history

Full set, infill, removal, lash lift, tint or brow shape, with the product and its batch or lot number, the tint shade, how long it took, the price, and a retention note you can add when the client returns. Before and after photographs on the same record.

Consent in your own words

Your wording, signed on screen with what she disclosed today. What she signs is copied into her record at the moment she signs it, so editing the template later never changes a consent already given.

Products, kept apart

Adhesive, tint, lift or perm, remover and other are separate kinds, and a patch test belongs to the product it was recorded for. Archive a product you stop using and past records keep naming it.

Who is due

The Due tab lists tests waiting to be read, clients whose test is running out, and fills due on your own cycle. After the number of days you set, a client stops appearing as due for a fill.

Reminders and the record export

A nudge to read a test back, a warning before one runs out, and a client due a fill. Export a one-page watermarked client record PDF on Standard, or the full record on Pro: tests, treatments, maps, consents and photographs.

WHY IT WORKS THIS WAY

Built around your own policy

The intervals are the ones you set

You choose the lead time, the validity window and the due-soon warning period. LashProof does not set these for you and never calls a number correct.

It does not decide whether to treat

LashProof shows the verdict and the reason. Whether a treatment goes ahead is your call, under your own policy and your product instructions.

A pending result is not a pass

A test logged and never read back stays at awaiting read, and so does a clear result with no read-back time on it.

A backup file on every tier

Making a backup, with the photographs and the signatures in it, is free whatever you pay. Restoring one onto a new phone is part of Pro.

Your records stay on Standard

The standard tier holds five clients; only adding a sixth is blocked. Everything already recorded stays available and editable, whatever you decide.

On your phone, no account

No sign in and no connection needed. The standard tier shows a small banner at the foot of the screen; Pro removes it. Crash reports and usage statistics are sent so problems can be found and fixed.

QUESTIONS

Before you install it

Does LashProof decide whether I can treat a client?

No. It applies the intervals you set and shows the verdict and the reason. Whether a treatment goes ahead is your decision, under your own policy and your product instructions.

She was tested on my adhesive. Does that count for a tint?

No. LashProof checks the selected product separately. A test recorded for your adhesive does not count as a tint test, so it answers for the product the next appointment will use.

Why does a test say awaiting read?

Because the result has not been read back and recorded. A pending test is never counted as a pass, and neither is a clear result with no read-back time on it.

What happens if I never upgrade?

You keep up to five clients with the full verdict engine, the book from calculator, lash maps, consent and signatures, and you can make a backup file whenever you like. The record export is one watermarked page.

Can I move my records to a new phone?

Yes. Make a backup on any tier, then restore it on the new phone with Pro. Records are matched by their saved identity, merged into what is already there, and nothing is deleted.

Does it do booking or payments?

No. There is no booking, no payments and no client-facing app. It keeps the records.
