The pedigree, drawn for you.
Open any bird and its pedigree builds itself from the sire and dam on each card: three generations on the standard plan, up to five on the full loft, with the ring, colour and honours you entered for each ancestor. Tap a box to open that bird, or an empty box to fill it in. On the full loft, export it as an A4 PDF with your loft name, ready to print or share.
Every bird on its own card.
Ring number as printed, in your federation’s own format, name, cock or hen, colour, strain, hatch date, who bred it, sire and dam, status, honours, notes and up to six photos. A parent or grandparent you never owned can have a card made from its ring number alone, marked not in loft, and never counts as a bird in your loft.
Pairs and youngsters.
Pair a cock and a hen for the season, note the nest box, and log the eggs and the hatches. Each youngster gets its own card with both parents already filled in.
Race velocities, on the full loft.
Add a race with the liberation point, distance and liberation time, then enter each bird’s clock time. LoftLedger works out each velocity in yards or metres per minute, counts the time across dates for a bird clocked the next morning, and takes off the night hours you enter. A season table shows each bird’s races, fastest velocity and highest position.
A health log with reminders.
Record vaccines, treatments and supplements for one bird or the whole loft, with the withdrawal days from the product’s label and a next-due date. The Health tab lists what is due and what is late, with reminders on the dates you enter.
The loft ledger, on the full loft.
Sales, purchases, prize money, feed, supplies and club fees, with what came in and went out each season. Two currencies are never added together.
