The stash match.
Choose a pattern and size, and every fabric in your stash is checked for length and width. When a fabric is narrower than the pattern requires, Sewdle estimates how much extra length you might need, so check the layout before cutting. Add any fabric that comes up short to your shopping list with one tap.
Your fabric stash.
A photo of each fabric with its fibre, colour, width, price and where you keep it. Cut a length for a project and Sewdle takes it off what is left. Patterns and notions (zips, buttons, thread, interfacing, elastic) sit alongside.
Projects from plan to finished.
Planned, cutting, sewing, finished. Each project holds the pattern and size, who it is for, the fabric cut from your stash, progress photos, notes and a list of steps you can tick off and reorder.
Time and cost.
Start a timer when you sit down at the machine, or add time afterwards. Sewdle adds up your sessions and works out the recorded cost of each make: fabric by the length you cut, notions and extras. If you sell your work, add your hourly rate and selling price to see the profit or loss.
The needle in your machine.
Sewdle counts the hours sewn since you last changed the needle and reminds you to check it after eight hours. A needle guide matches fabric to needle type and size, and you can note when you last oiled, cleaned and serviced the machine.
A sketchbook.
Draw over a fashion figure or a dress form, with a finger or a stylus. With a compatible pressure-sensitive pen, line weight changes as you press, and you can rest your palm on the screen while you draw. Pin swatches from your stash beside the sketch and share it as an image.
