Trends: weight readings with the 7-entry average, and the change since the dose ladder started
The week: next shot in 3 days, Log shot, and the site map with days since each site was used

What it does

The countdown.

The week screen opens on the days until your next shot, with Log shot right under it. Shots can be weekly or daily. If one goes in a day early or late, the countdown moves with it and says so. A reminder arrives on shot day at the time you pick.

Injection sites.

A map of six sites: both sides of the abdomen, both thighs and both upper arms. Each shows the days since it was last used, and the one used longest ago is marked. A site you used in the last 14 days shows in amber, as a reminder of your own rotation rather than a medical rule. Nothing is blocked, and sites you do not use can be switched off. Your leaflet says which sites to use; the map records where your shots went.

Logging a shot.

As a starting point, the form fills in the site you used longest ago and the dose of your current step. Check both against your prescription and leaflet, change either, and save. You can add a photo of a site reaction. History lists every shot with its site and dose; open one to see its photo or to delete an entry logged by mistake.

Dose steps.

Type in the steps from your prescription: the dose, the date each one started and how many weeks it was planned for. Optional presets fill in common semaglutide and tirzepatide dose steps to save typing; check every entry against your prescription and change any figure. The app never moves you up a step. There is also a note for what your prescriber told you to do if a shot is missed.

Weight and side effects.

A weekly weigh-in in kilograms, pounds or stones, with an optional waist measurement. The chart shows each reading, a 7-entry average, and the change since your dose steps began and over the last four weeks. Side effects are nausea, constipation, diarrhoea, fatigue, site reaction, appetite and other, each on a five-step scale, day by day. You can also log protein and water each day.

Supply and the summary.

Pens and vials on hand, with a refill reminder worked out from the count you keep and your schedule. For U-100 syringes, a calculator converts the concentration and prescribed dose you enter into syringe units and shows the working. A PDF of the last 12 weeks for your prescriber: dose steps, shots with date, site and dose, weight and side effects.

Why it works this way

Your records stay on your phone.

There is no account and no sign-in, and ShotWeek does not upload your records. Backup makes one file with everything, photos included, that you can restore on another phone; restoring adds what is missing and removes nothing. Crash reports and usage statistics are sent, and neither carries your health records.

It records, it does not advise.

ShotWeek does not suggest a dose, a dose change or what to do about a symptom. Follow your prescriber and the leaflet that came with your medication.

Nothing you entered gets locked away.

Your whole history, the site map, weight trends and backup stay open on every plan. The paid version adds three things; it never hides a record you already made.

Questions

Which medications can I track?

ShotWeek is built for GLP-1 injections such as semaglutide and tirzepatide, taken weekly or daily. You type in the doses from your own prescription; the optional presets only save typing.

Will it tell me when to move up a dose?

No. You enter each step with its start date and planned weeks, and the app shows which step you are on. It never changes your dose.

What if I miss a shot?

The rule is different for each medication, so ShotWeek does not carry one. There is a note where you can write down what your prescriber told you to do.

Is my information uploaded anywhere?

ShotWeek does not upload your records, and there is no account. Reaction photos are kept in the app and in your backups, and are not added to your gallery. You choose where an exported PDF or backup file goes. Crash reports and usage statistics are sent, and neither carries your health records.

What is in the summary for my prescriber?

The last 12 weeks as a PDF: your dose steps, each shot with its date, site and dose, your weight readings and your side effects. It is written in English whatever language the app is set to.

Can I move to a new phone?

Yes. Make a backup file in Settings and restore it on the new phone. Backup and restore work on every plan.
