Type in your trips. StayTally shows how many of your 90 days you have used in the last 180, how many are left, and when counted days start dropping out of the window. Add a trip you are planning and it tells you straight away whether it fits.

The last 180 days drawn as a strip: counted days in red, the rest in green. Older counted days move out of the window as time passes, so you can see when days become available again.
Add a future trip the same way as a past one. Each planned trip says whether it fits and how many days you will have to spare, or the exact day it would go over 90 and the latest exit that would fit. Two more answers have their own page: how long you can stay if you arrive on a date, and the earliest arrival for a stay of a given length.
The day you arrive and the day you leave each count as a day. Every Schengen country shares one total, and a travel day between two of them counts once. Croatia counts from 1 January 2023, Bulgaria and Romania from 31 March 2024. The UK, Ireland, Cyprus and other countries outside the area are not counted toward 90/180.
Days in every country you visit this calendar year, over the last 12 months, or over a tax year you set (6 April for the UK). Set a day limit for each country, starting at 183 days, and see the day you would reach it. Choose how days count: every day present, nights only, arrival but not departure, or departure but not arrival.
A warning a week before your last day by the 90/180 count (or 3, 14 or 21 days), another on that day, and a reminder the evening before each trip ends. An English PDF with your trips, your 90/180 count and days per country, a CSV of every trip, and a backup file you can restore on a new phone.
There is no account and no sign-in, and StayTally never asks for your location: trips are typed in, not tracked. Your trips are not uploaded anywhere. Crash reports and screen-view statistics are sent, and neither carries your trips.
StayTally works out the days from the trips you enter by the 90 days in any 180 rule. It does not know your visa or residency rules, and it is not legal or tax advice. Check the rules that apply to you with the relevant authority.
Every trip you have entered stays visible and editable whichever plan you are on. Pro adds features; nothing you entered is locked.
Unlimited past trips, the window for any date, one planned trip, days per country against the 183-day default, and backup. A small banner shows on the Trips tab only, never on the window.
An optional 14-day trial is offered in the app; it starts only when you tap it.

On any day of a stay, it counts the days you spent in the Schengen area in the 180 days ending on that day, that day included. The total may not go over 90. It works this out from the trips you enter.
Yes. Each counts as a full day, which is how the rule is applied.
No. All Schengen countries share one total, so a day you travel from Spain to France counts once.
The 29 Schengen members, with Croatia from 1 January 2023 and Bulgaria and Romania from 31 March 2024. Monaco, San Marino and Vatican City are counted because you can only reach them through the area. Cyprus and Ireland are EU members outside the area and are not counted.
No. It has no location permission. You type your trips in.
You can keep it with your travel papers. It is a record you made yourself from the trips you entered, not an official document.
