DailyStack Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
1. Introduction
ClearStack Apps ("we", "us", "our") operates the DailyStack mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use DailyStack. DailyStack is a supplement and vitamin log with dose reminders, refill alerts, and an adherence record.
Short version: Your supplement list, dose history and any bottle photos stay on your device — they are never uploaded to our servers. Anonymous crash reports and ad data are sent to Google so we can fix bugs and show ads on the standard tier. There is no account and no sign-in.
2. Information We Collect
2a. Information You Enter — Stored On Your Device Only
The following remains on your phone and is never transmitted to ClearStack Apps:
- The supplements in your stack (name, dose amount and unit, times of day, with/without food)
- Schedule settings, including weekday and cycling patterns
- Bottle quantity, refill thresholds and expiry dates
- Your dose history — every dose marked taken or skipped, with its date and time slot
- Notes you write on a supplement
- Photos of bottles — the photo file stays in your device storage
- Settings (reminder toggle, theme, onboarding state)
2b. Health Data — Handled As Sensitive
What you take and when you take it is health information, and a photo of a bottle can capture a label. DailyStack treats all of it as sensitive: it is stored only in the app's private storage on your device, it is not backed up to our servers, it is not shared with any third party, and it is never used for advertising or profiling. Nothing you log leaves your phone unless you choose to export a PDF and send it yourself.
2c. Automatically Collected — Sent To Google
By default these SDKs run inside DailyStack and send anonymised data to Google LLC:
- Firebase Crashlytics: Crash logs, stack traces, device model, OS version and app version. Used to identify and fix bugs.
- Firebase Analytics: Anonymous app interactions (screen views, feature-usage events), device model, OS, app version, and approximate location derived from IP. Used to understand how the app is used. These events never include supplement names, doses, or anything you logged.
- Google AdMob (standard tier only): Advertising ID, device model, OS, approximate location and ad-interaction events. Used to serve a banner ad. Pro purchasers and trial users see no ads and AdMob is not initialised for them. Your health data is never passed to AdMob.
2d. Purchase Information
DailyStack Pro is verified by Google Play Billing. The app stores only the unlock state locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment-card details.
3. Consent for Ads (EEA & UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, DailyStack shows Google's consent message (UMP) before serving personalised ads on the standard tier. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from Settings → Ad privacy options. Upgrading to Pro removes ads entirely.
4. Data We Do Not Collect
To be explicit, DailyStack does not collect or transmit:
- Your supplement list, dose history, notes, or bottle photos (these stay 100% on your device)
- Personally identifiable information (name, email, phone number, address)
- Medical records, prescriptions, or diagnoses
- Financial information
- Precise location data
- Contacts, calendar, messages, files, or other media
- Voice or audio data
5. Permissions
- Notifications: required to remind you when a dose is due and when a bottle is running low. Android 13 and newer ask you for this explicitly; declining it disables reminders but nothing else.
- Camera / photo selection: only used when you choose to attach a photo of a bottle. DailyStack does not request broad access to your photo library — the selected image is copied into the app's own storage.
6. Data Retention
Your stack, dose history and photos remain on your device indefinitely or until you delete them. There is no automatic deletion, and nothing is removed if you stop paying — read access to everything you have logged stays available on every tier.
Anonymous Crashlytics and Analytics data is retained by Google according to Firebase's data-retention policy. Advertising-ID data is retained by AdMob per Google's Privacy Policy.
7. How to Delete Your Data
7a. Delete In-App Data
Remove individual supplements from the Stack screen. To remove everything at once, uninstall the app.
7b. Delete the App Entirely
Uninstalling DailyStack removes all on-device data, including bottle photos. Because nothing is on our servers, uninstalling effectively wipes everything.
7c. Delete Telemetry Data Held by Google
To delete Crashlytics, Analytics and Advertising-ID data already sent to Google, follow Google's data-deletion process. ClearStack Apps cannot delete Google-held data on your behalf — it must be requested by you through your Google Account.
8. Children's Privacy
DailyStack is rated for users 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you believe a child has used DailyStack, contact support@clearstackapps.com.
9. Not Medical Advice
DailyStack is a log and reminder tool. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent or cure any condition, it does not recommend supplements, and it is not a substitute for professional care. Do not start, stop, or change any supplement or medication based on this app. The combination notes in the app are general reference material covering common supplements only, drawn from public NIH Office of Dietary Supplements material — they are not a drug-interaction checker. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
10. Third Parties
- Google LLC — Firebase (Crashlytics, Analytics) and AdMob. Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Play Billing — purchase processing. Google Payments Privacy Notice.
11. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA / UK GDPR)
If you reside in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you. For DailyStack, the answer is: none on our servers. Crashlytics and Analytics hold anonymous device-level data per Google's policies.
- Rectify inaccurate data — same caveat; nothing to rectify on our end.
- Delete your data — see Section 7.
- Object to ad personalisation — use Settings → Ad privacy options, or upgrade to Pro.
- Withdraw consent — change your ad choice in Settings and/or uninstall the app.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
