Extinguisher Inspection Log
Every cylinder. Every inspection.
A private, offline-first log for fire-extinguisher service technicians. Scan a QR or barcode to open a cylinder's history, record the inspection, watch every NFPA 10 next-due date, and export a route or per-unit PDF.
How it works
Scan the cylinder
Stick a QR or barcode label on each extinguisher. Tap Scan and the app opens that exact unit's history in one tap — or registers a new one pre-filled with the scanned code. Manual lookup by serial or location is always there too.
Log the service
Run the monthly visual checklist, or record annual maintenance, a 6-year internal exam or a hydrostatic test. Add a photo of the gauge or tag, an optional GPS stamp, and your signature. The app recomputes every next-due date.
Tag & export
Generate a posted-tag image to leave on the cylinder, then export a route or per-unit PDF for the file and the inspector. A what's-due worklist keeps your route honest, soonest first.

Features
QR / barcode scan
Stick your own label on each cylinder and tap Scan to open its history — or register a new unit pre-filled with the code. Manual lookup by serial or location is always available.
NFPA 10 next-due dates
Monthly, annual, 6-year internal and hydrostatic — the interval is looked up from the extinguisher type, so CO2 and water track a 5-year hydro and no 6-year internal, while dry-chem tracks a 6-year internal and a 12-year hydro.
Monthly checklist
The NFPA 10 visual inspection as a quick checklist — accessible, gauge in range, seal intact, no damage, correct location, label legible — with a neutral OK / needs-service / failed outcome.
Every extinguisher type
ABC and BC dry chemical, CO2, Class K wet chemical, water/foam, halon/clean agent and cartridge-operated dry chemical — each with the right service cadence.
Sites & routes
Group extinguishers by customer site and run a route. A what's-due worklist surfaces everything overdue or due-soon across all sites, soonest first.
Posted service tag
Generate a tag image showing the service type, date, technician, company, serial and next-due — to print and leave on the cylinder.
Route & unit PDFs
Export a route or per-site PDF that lists every extinguisher with its next-due dates and status, plus a per-unit PDF with the full service history — for the file and the inspector.
Technician profile
Your name, license / certification number, company and a drawn signature — carried onto each service event, posted tag and report.
Photos & GPS
Attach photos of the gauge, tag or damage, and add an optional foreground GPS stamp per service to strengthen the record.
On-device, no account
Sites, extinguishers, service history, photos and PDFs live in a local database on your phone. No login, no cloud sync, nothing sold.
Offline-first
Scan, inspect and export with no signal — in a back room, a plant floor or a stairwell. The network is used only for ads on the free tier, purchases and crash reports.
A record-keeper, not a certifier
Extinguisher Inspection Log helps you record inspections and prepare documents. It is not a certification or inspection service and does not guarantee any record meets NFPA 10, OSHA or your authority's requirements.
Pricing
Try every feature for 14 days with no card. After the trial, pick the tier that fits — your past sites, extinguishers, service records and PDFs stay available and re-exportable regardless.
