JobGallery Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
1. Introduction
ClearStack Apps ("we", "us", "our") operates the JobGallery mobile application and the gallery pages it serves at jobgallery.web.app. JobGallery is where a trade business keeps the before and after photos of its jobs and shows them to customers. This policy explains what is stored, where, who can see it, how long it is kept and how to delete it. It covers JobGallery only; the rest of ClearStack Apps is covered by our main privacy policy.
2. What JobGallery Stores
- The business's account: an anonymous account is created when the app first opens. If the business adds an email address and password, they are held by Google Firebase Authentication and never seen by us. The name a seat gives is stored with the business.
- The business's settings: its name, page address, phone, email, website, a short description and the page's colour.
- Jobs: for each job, its name, trade, town, date, tags and whether it shows on the page. The app asks for a town and not a street address.
- Pairs: for each pair, the before and after photos, their sizes, how they are lined up, and a caption.
- View counts: a daily count of how many times the page was opened. It is a number; no visitor's address, identity or device is stored with it.
- Purchase check: if the business buys a plan from Google Play, the purchase token, used only to confirm the purchase with Google and to renew or end the plan.
The photos are the ones the business takes. Please do not photograph people, number plates or a customer's belongings that would identify them without their permission, and ask a customer before putting their home on a public page.
3. Crash Reports and Analytics
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC): crash reports, device model, operating system and app version, so we can find and fix bugs.
- Firebase Analytics (Google LLC): basic usage events such as app opens and screen views, tied to a random ID for the app on your phone. The advertising ID is not collected.
These never include jobs, photos, names or contact details. JobGallery shows no third-party ads. The free tier shows a banner for ClearStack's own website service; nothing from the business's records is used to choose it. Nothing in a business's records is sold or shared with advertisers.
4. Where It Is Stored
On Google Cloud (Firebase) in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest. The app keeps a copy on the phone so photos can be taken without a connection; photos taken offline stay on the phone until they are sent.
5. Who Can See It
- Every seat of the business (the owner and, on Pro, one helper) sees the business's jobs and photos.
- Anyone with the gallery page's address sees what the business published there: the business's name and contact details, and the jobs marked as shown on the page with their photos, captions, trade, town and month. The page changes only when the business publishes it again, and comes down when the business takes it down. It is public and search engines may find it.
- Anyone with a customer link sees that one job and the business's contact details, until the business stops the link.
- If a person shares a before and after image from the app, what happens to it next is up to the person and the app they shared it with.
- We do not read businesses' records. Google acts as our processor to store them.
6. Deleting the Business or Your Account
In the app: Settings, then Delete account, and confirm. Or email support@clearstackapps.com from the address on the account. When the owner deletes the account, the whole business goes with it: every job, pair and photo, the published page, every customer link and the page address. A helper who deletes their account leaves the business; what they shot stays with its jobs.
A single job can be deleted from its screen, which stops its customer link and refreshes the page. Crash reports are kept by Firebase for 90 days and then deleted.
