StallSheet Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026

1. Introduction

ClearStack Apps ("we", "us", "our") operates the StallSheet mobile application and the owner care feeds it serves at stallsheet.web.app. StallSheet is where a horse boarding barn keeps its stalls, horses, care routines, feed time ticks and board billing. The barn decides what goes in it. This policy explains what is stored, where, who can see it, how long it is kept and how to delete it. It covers StallSheet only; the rest of ClearStack Apps is covered by our main privacy policy.

2. What StallSheet Stores

  • The barn's account: an anonymous account is created when the app first opens. If the barn adds an email address and password, they are held by Google Firebase Authentication and never seen by us. The name a seat gives is stored with the barn and shown on the ticks that seat makes.
  • The barn's details: its name, phone, email, address, currency, time zone, aisles and stalls.
  • Horse owners: the name, phone, email and notes the barn types for each owner, and whether the owner has agreed to the weekly email.
  • Horses: name, breed, colour, year of birth, photo, vet and farrier names, insurance note, allergies and warnings, turnout group, blanket rules, care dates and care routines.
  • Feed time ticks: for each line, whether it was done, who ticked it and when, and any note or photo added. Tick history is kept as long as the barn keeps its account.
  • Money: board plans, extras, invoices and the payments the barn logs by hand or that arrive from Stripe.
  • Purchase check: if the barn buys a plan from Google Play, the purchase token, used only to confirm the purchase with Google and to renew or end the plan.

Medication and supplement lines are what the owner or the vet instructed, typed by the barn. StallSheet gives no veterinary, nutrition or dosing advice and does not check what is typed.

3. Owner Care Feeds

On the Pro plan a barn can make a private link for a horse owner. The link holds a random code and nothing personal. Anyone who has the link can see that owner's page: their own horses, today's and the last seven days' ticks with the names of the staff who made them, notes and photos, care routines, warnings, coming care dates, and that owner's invoices, payments and balance. It never shows another owner's horses. The barn can revoke a link at any time, and links stop working if the barn's Pro plan ends. Care feed pages ask search engines not to index them.

A barn should tell its horse owners that it keeps their details in StallSheet. The barn is responsible for the information it enters about its owners and staff; on those records we act on the barn's behalf.

4. Weekly Email

A horse owner can receive a weekly summary only if the barn has recorded their agreement or they turn it on from their care feed, where they can also turn it off. Emails are sent through Resend, which receives the owner's email address and the text of the summary in order to deliver it.

5. Online Board Payments

Online payments run through Stripe, using the barn's own Stripe account. Card details are entered on Stripe's page and never reach StallSheet or the barn. We receive the amount, the date and a payment reference, and we pass the owner's name and email to Stripe when a payment is set up. Stripe's own privacy policy covers what it holds, and the payment records in the barn's Stripe account stay there after a StallSheet account is deleted. ClearStack Apps charges a platform fee on these payments and does not hold the barn's money.

6. Crash Reports and Analytics

  • Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC): crash reports, device model, operating system and app version, so we can find and fix bugs.
  • Firebase Analytics (Google LLC): basic usage events such as app opens and screen views, tied to a random ID for the app on your phone. The advertising ID is not collected.

These never include horses, owners, ticks, photos or money. StallSheet shows no third-party ads. The Standard plan shows a banner for ClearStack's own website service; nothing from the barn's records is used to choose it. Nothing in a barn's records is sold or shared with advertisers.

7. Where It Is Stored

On Google Cloud (Firebase) in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest. The app keeps a copy on the phone so feed time works without a connection; ticks and photos made offline stay on the phone until they are sent.

8. Who Can See It

  • Every seat of the barn (the owner and, on Pro, up to three staff) sees the barn's records.
  • Anyone with an owner's care feed link sees that owner's page, as set out above.
  • We do not read barns' records. Google acts as our processor to store them.

9. Deleting the Barn or Your Account

In the app: Settings, then Delete account, and confirm. Or email support@clearstackapps.com from the address on the account. When the barn's owner deletes the account, the whole barn goes with it: every horse, owner, tick, invoice, payment record and photo, and the care feed links. A staff member who deletes their account leaves the barn; what they ticked stays with it.

A horse owner who wants their details removed should ask their barn, which can delete the owner's record, or email us and we will pass the request on. A single horse or owner can be deleted from its screen. Crash reports are kept by Firebase for 90 days and then deleted.
