TattooDraft Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

ClearStack Apps ("we", "us", "our") operates the TattooDraft mobile application. TattooDraft draws tattoo design ideas from your description, lets you try a design on a photo of your own skin, and prints a reference sheet for your tattoo artist. This policy explains what the app keeps on your phone, what it sends to our server, and how to delete it.

2. What Is Sent to Draw a Sheet

To draw a sheet of designs, the app sends your request to our server, which passes it to an image model and sends the finished designs back.

• Your description and choices: the words you typed, the style, ink, placement and size are sent for each sheet. We keep them with the sheet for 30 days, so that if you report a design we can see what was asked for. After 30 days the record is deleted.
• A sketch you add: it is uploaded for that one sheet only. Our server deletes it as soon as the sheet is drawn, whether it worked or not. An hourly check deletes any upload older than one hour, in case a sheet was cut off.
• A design you ask variations of: it is uploaded the same way, for that one sheet, and deleted the same way.
• Finished designs: they are stored on our server only until your phone downloads them. The app then tells the server to delete them. If that message never arrives, the hourly check deletes designs older than 23 hours, so none is kept longer than a day.
• No training: nothing you send is used to train an AI model, by us or by the model provider.

3. Photos of Your Skin Are Never Sent

Trying a design on your skin, measuring with a bank card or coin, and the saved preview pictures are all done on your phone. Skin photos are never uploaded.

4. The Image Model

Designs are drawn by Google's Gemini image model on Google Cloud Vertex AI, called by our own server. Before anything is drawn, a second Gemini model reads the request (and the sketch, if there is one) and refuses it if it asks for a real person, a brand or logo, a copyrighted character, a named artist's work, sexual content or hate symbols. Google processes the request to draw the designs and does not use it to train its models. Every design carries a small "AI-generated" label in its file details.

5. What Stays on Your Phone

Your designs, skin previews, skin photos and sketches stay in the app's own storage. Uninstalling the app deletes them. Anything you save to your photo gallery or share goes where you send it, and you control it there.

6. Your Account

There is no sign-up. On first launch the app creates an anonymous account with Firebase Authentication, so our server can keep your balance. For each install we keep:

• your balance: sheets, preview sheets used, and whether a plan is active
• your sheet records, as described in section 2, for up to 30 days
• if you make a transfer code to move to a new phone, that code, until it is used or for up to 7 days

7. Purchases

Purchases are handled by Google Play. When you buy, the app sends the purchase token to our server so it can confirm the purchase with Google and add your sheets. We keep a record of each purchase so it is counted once. We never see or store your card details.

8. Reports

Every design has a report button. If you report one, we keep the sheet's description and style, which of the four designs it was, the reason you picked and any note you write. The picture itself is not uploaded again, and the design is removed from your phone.

9. Crash Reports and Analytics

• Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC): crash reports, stack traces, device model, operating system and app version, so we can find and fix bugs.
• Firebase Analytics (Google LLC): basic usage events such as app opens and screen views. TattooDraft shows no ads and does not collect the advertising ID.

10. Who Else Handles Your Data

• Google LLC: Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Vertex AI, Crashlytics, Analytics and Google Play Billing. Firebase privacy information.

We do not sell your data, rent it, or use it for advertising.

11. Exporting and Deleting Your Data

• Export: open Settings, then Export my data. You get a file with everything our server holds about your install.
• Delete in the app: open Settings, then Delete everything. This removes your designs, previews and photos from the phone, and your balance, sheet records and any files from our server, then signs the install out.
• Delete by email: write to support@clearstackapps.com and ask for your data to be deleted. We delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm.

Purchase records are kept without your install id, so a purchase cannot be counted twice. Reports you filed are kept without your install id. Crash and analytics data follow Google's retention periods.

12. Permissions

• Photos and camera: you pick a photo from your gallery or take one with the phone's camera app. The app sees only the photo you choose.
• Internet: drawing sheets, purchases and crash reports.

13. Adults Only

TattooDraft is made for adults planning a tattoo and is not directed at children under 18.

14. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, EU GDPR and similar laws you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, and object to how it is used. Email us at the address below. You can also complain to the UK ICO or your local data protection authority.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
