Delete Your WaitBuzz Account

In the app

  1. Open WaitBuzz.
  2. Tap Settings in the bottom bar.
  3. Tap Account and recovery.
  4. Tap Delete account, then confirm.

Your sign-in to WaitBuzz and the whole business are deleted at once: locations, every party record, guest links, push subscriptions and the join and TV board links. Your QR codes stop working.

If you cannot open the app

Email support@clearstackapps.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my WaitBuzz account". We delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm.

Hosts

A host who deletes their account leaves the business; the list stays with the owner.

Guests

Guests have no account. Their name is deleted automatically 120 days after their visit, and their link two days after it ends. A guest who wants their name removed sooner can ask the business or email us with the business name and the time of the visit.

Want a copy first?

  • Export all records (JSON) in Settings saves every party.
  • To stop guests joining without deleting anything, turn off Guests can join by QR in Settings.
