ParentPact Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
ClearStack Apps ("we", "us", "our") operates the ParentPact mobile application. ParentPact is a shared record kept by two separated parents: a custody calendar, requests to change days, messages, shared expenses and the children's details. This policy explains what the app stores, where, who can see it, how long it is kept and how to delete it. It covers ParentPact only; the rest of ClearStack Apps is covered by our main privacy policy.
2. What ParentPact Stores
- Your account: your email address, your password (held by Google Firebase Authentication and never seen by us) and the name you give.
- The family record: your children's first names and birthdays, the parenting plan and its earlier versions, calendar requests and answers, messages and their attachments, expenses and receipt photos, the children's details you add (such as school, doctor, allergies and sizes), and a log of changes. Each entry carries who made it and the server time it arrived.
- Push notification tokens for your phone, so the other parent's messages and requests can reach you, and the app's language, so they arrive in it.
- Purchase check: if a parent buys a plan, the Google Play purchase token, used only to confirm the purchase with Google and to renew or end the plan. We never see or store card details.
3. Crash Reports and Analytics
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC): crash reports, device model, operating system and app version, so we can find and fix bugs.
- Firebase Analytics (Google LLC): basic usage events such as app opens and screen views, tied to a random ID for the app on your phone.
These never include messages, expenses, names or children's details. ParentPact shows no ads and does not collect the advertising ID. Nothing in a family record is sold, shared with advertisers or used for anything but showing it to the people in that record.
4. Where It Is Stored
On Google Cloud (Firebase) in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest. Photos and PDFs you attach are stored the same way and can be opened only by signed-in members of your family record.
5. Who Can See It
- Both parents in a family record see everything in it.
- A viewer a parent invites, such as a lawyer or mediator, can read the record and make PDFs, and cannot add anything. A parent can remove a viewer at any time.
- A parent who leaves the record can still read everything written up to the day they left, and nothing written after.
- We do not read family records. Google acts as our processor to store them.
The wording check that can run before a message is sent works on your phone only. Nothing it finds is sent anywhere.
6. Why Entries Cannot Be Edited
The record is shared and dated on purpose. A message, a child's detail or a calendar answer stays as it was saved, for both parents. An expense can be corrected by the parent who entered it until it is settled, and the correction is marked. This is also why deleting your account does not remove what you wrote from the other parent's record (section 7).
7. Deleting Your Account
In the app: tap the settings icon, then Delete my account, and confirm. Or email support@clearstackapps.com from the address on your account. Step by step: how to delete your ParentPact account.
- Deleted at once: your sign-in, your email address, your push tokens and your profile.
- Kept: entries you made in a shared family record stay in that record under the name you used, because the other parent relies on it.
- The whole record: once everyone who can read a family record has deleted their account, the record and all its photos and files are deleted automatically.
Crash reports are kept by Firebase for 90 days and then deleted.
8. Your Copy of the Data
In the Record tab, Download everything (JSON) exports everything you can see. Email us for anything else.
9. Children
ParentPact is used by parents. It stores what parents choose to add about their children and is not meant for children to use.
