SetRunner Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 26, 2026
1. Introduction
ClearStack Apps ("we", "us", "our") operates the SetRunner mobile application and the pages it serves at setrunner.web.app. SetRunner is an event planner for DJs: the DJ plans each event, the couple or client fills in their part on a planning link, and guests can request songs from a page the DJ shares on the night. This policy explains what is stored, where, who can see it, how long it is kept and how to delete it. It covers SetRunner only; the rest of ClearStack Apps is covered by our main privacy policy.
2. What SetRunner Stores
- The DJ's account: an anonymous account is created when the app first opens. If the DJ adds an email address and password, they are held by Google Firebase Authentication and never seen by us.
- The DJ's business records: the business name and currency, document wording, templates, and each event: client or couple names, date, venue, times, package, fee, deposit, status, the timeline and its announcements, song lists and private notes.
- What the couple or client adds on the planning link: times and notes on the timeline, names to announce and how to say them, songs, answers to the DJ's questions, and announcements to make or avoid.
- Song requests: the song title and artist a guest types, and the first name they choose to give, if any.
- Deposits: when the DJ connects a Stripe account, deposits are paid on Stripe's own checkout page, directly to the DJ's Stripe account. SetRunner stores the amount, the currency and Stripe's payment reference. Card details go to Stripe and never reach us.
- Abuse limits: a hashed, short-lived counter per connection that limits how often the request page can be used. The raw IP address is not stored.
- Purchase check: if the DJ buys a plan from Google Play, the purchase token, used only to confirm the purchase with Google and to renew or end the plan.
SetRunner never asks guests for a phone number or email, sends no text messages and does not build a marketing list.
3. How Long It Is Kept
- Events, timelines, songs, the couple's answers and song requests stay with the DJ's account until the DJ deletes the event or the account.
- Turning off a planning link or a request page deletes the link at once; anyone holding it sees that it is no longer active.
- Abuse counters expire within a day.
4. Crash Reports and Analytics
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC): crash reports, device model, operating system and app version, so we can find and fix bugs.
- Firebase Analytics (Google LLC): basic usage events such as app opens and screen views, tied to a random ID for the app on the phone. The advertising ID is not collected.
These never include event details, names or song lists. SetRunner shows no third-party ads. The free tier shows a banner for ClearStack's own website service; nothing from the DJ's events is used to choose it. Nothing is sold or shared with advertisers.
5. Couples, Clients and Guests
Couples, clients and guests do not create an account and install nothing. The planning page and the request page set no cookies; the request page keeps the guest's own recent requests in their browser so they can see them. Both pages are marked so search engines do not index them.
6. Where It Is Stored
On Google Cloud (Firebase) in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest. The app keeps a local copy on the DJ's phone so the Run Sheet keeps working through a signal drop.
7. Who Can See It
- The DJ, and on Pro up to two more DJs the owner invites, see the business's events.
- The couple or client sees only their own event on their planning link. A guest sees only their own requests.
- We do not read DJs' events. Google acts as our processor to store them, and Stripe processes deposits for the DJ.
8. Deleting Data
In the app: Settings, then Account and recovery, then Delete account, and confirm. Or email support@clearstackapps.com from the address on the account. When the owner deletes the account, every event, timeline, song list, request, planning link and request page of the business is deleted. A single event can be deleted from its menu. Payments already made stay in the DJ's own Stripe account, which the DJ manages with Stripe. More detail is on the account deletion page.
Crash reports are kept by Firebase for 90 days and then deleted.
9. Your Copy of the Data
In Settings, Export all records (JSON) saves a copy of every event, timeline and song list on every plan.
